Harvested in the cold waters along the coast of our archipelago, in the rocky sea bottom, the lobster, a.k.a. King of the Sea, is a staple in the life of Madelinots, as well as at our plant in Gros-Cap. This island lobster has become a reference among seafood connoisseurs who appreciate the tasty crustacean for the tenderness and quality of its meat. Some even go as far as saying that it is the best lobster in the world. Try it to see for yourself!

Lobster season

Usually begins the first of May and lasts for nine weeks. Lobster is available in ponds for a couples of weeks.
